Advantech Industrial I/O Modules

Advantech ADAM-6066

Remote I/O Modules

Advantech are a global leader in remote I/O modules, providing complete stand-alone data acquisition modules for industrial applications such as facility, environmental monitoring & industrial process control.

Advantech remote I/O modules are categorised in two ranges, Ethernet I/O (ADAM-6000 series) and RS-485 I/O (ADAM-4000 series) which are divided in to Analogue & Digital I/O.

Ethernet I/O Modules: ADAM-6000

Advantech’s Ethernet I/O Modules ADAM-6000 series utilises latest Ethernet technology so that it can efficiently remotely monitor devices. The Advantech 6000 series provides an easy to install and use distributed data acquisition system. Pre-built embedded web page allows the ADAM-6000 modules to be complete stand alone devices and no programming required.

ADAM-6066 Overview

The Advantech ADAM-6066 has six digital output channels designed for 240VAC, 5A rating and support both dry contact and pulse output.

The ADAM-6066 has an embedded web server for remote monitoring supporting Modbus/TCP and UDP protocols meeting standard communication requirements and offering personalised settings for improved flexibility.

In the past integration of automation solutions required the entire architecture of a business to be changed. With the aid of industrial Ethernet devices like the ADAM-6066 provides an open network architecture with a seamless integration of various levels to be created.

As more industrial networks are moving towards Ethernet the ADAM-6000 modules are quickly becoming a standard device for the industry as they provide an open and widespread communication interface.

With the addition of I/O with graphic condition logic, users have much greater functionality. User can determine the rules of logic control via graphical interface and download to any ADAM-6000 I/O module. For each Ethernet I/O module 16 rules can be defined.
